The General Settings tab offers some general settings which are used site-wide. You can find the detailed information regarding each retailer in our knowledge base by following this link. We will skip those options here and take a look at the general settings section.
This tabs allows you to control who can access different sections of the plugin. By default, all of the permissions are set to only allow admins. Be careful while setting this, allowing users will lower privileges to access the plugin can result in unwanted behavior and potentially taking down your website, as well as flooding the retailer’s API and having your IP banned permanently.
This tab allows you to setup notifications to be received by email when a certain task occurs. You can enter a custom email address to be used, or leave the email field blank to use the website’s admin email address.
Proxy tab allows you to set a set of proxies to be used to connect to the retailer’s store, download images, and more. Shared hosts have also shared IP, which sometimes leads to your requests being rejected. For better results, try using a private proxy rather than a public one.
